Sensitive but held together

i’m feeling these energies so heavy

my heart is tender

healing and learning

shedding

shifting and growing

expanding

today i was triggered 

rejected 

and i accepted it —

sadly it was from you

It put it all into perspective for me

into place

we are just a fantasy 

a love story that lives

only in our heads

at best

felt through our hearts

not acted out because of fear 

fear of combusting, converging, becoming one

i was afraid too 

however i didn’t let it stiffen me

the love was beautiful 

innocent at its purest form 

before being tainted

the love still breathes underneath it all though 

forever

in every lifetime 

deeply connected

maybe not right now but,

time and space do have a way

of bringing things together

ill always be excited when i see you

like if it was the first time

that one night

at the top of that hill
